Some Things Stay The Same
Return control of our children’s education to parents and students. No member of the school board has
the moral authority to make decisions for your child with out your express consent, regardless of statutes.
Encourage
voluntary community involvement in our schools. Implement a non-profit, community-based organization to provide resources
for our growing school system.
Re-introduce the concepts of self reliance, rugged individualism, mutual aid, voluntary
cooperation and property rights…the very concepts our nation was built upon.
Introduce free market solutions
for our crowded schools. Implement the selling of naming rights and sponsorships.
Work with County Commission to
grant tax rebates to parents who home school or send their children to private schools.
Re-introduce the Declaration
of Independence and Bill of Rights to the classroom. Teach our children about their birth rights of Life, Liberty and the
Pursuit of Happiness.
If you believe our schools should be producing open minded, self reliant adults instead of
narrow minded subjects of the state, please consider me in November*

A Good Trend Is Growing...
A recently published Independent Tribune article highlighted the growing number of home schooled children here in Cabarrus, as well as the rest of the state.
These parents help alleviate the problem of over crowed schools. They also
pay (through involuntary taxation) for the government schools they choose not to send their children.
I promise to be an advocate for these responsible parents.
